ポケモンと人生の相関性

つまるところ、ポケモンとは人生の縮図だろう。

ポケモンは誰もがやったことのあるゲームだが、説明を簡単に行う。

You know, Pokemon is absolutely famous game, but I would like to explain its system.

ポケモンと呼ばれるモンスターを育て、他のトレーナー達と競いながら旅を行い、ポケモントレーナーの頂点を目指していくゲームだ。

You bring up your own monsters called pokemon and travel with them, competing with other trainers. Your ultimate target is becoming a champion among whole pokemon trainers.

おもしろいところはポケモンの種類が多く、捕まえたポケモンを育てて強くしていくことだと私は考える。

The reason why pokemon is so exciting is that you can get a wide range of monsters and bring up your own monsters strongly.

連れて歩けるポケモンは最大６体。

You are limited the maximum number of monsters which you can travel with is six.

その中にはバトルで役に立つ強いポケモンもいれば、見た目のかっこよさ、かわいさで選ばれるものもいる。

Some monsters are strong, some monsters are charming.

特定のポケモンを駆使しなければ進めない道もある。

You might be unable to solve the problem without specific monsters.

注意して欲しいのは種類が多いので、捕まえたポケモン全てを育てることは時間的に不可能ということだ。

It is impossible to bring up all monsters you have got, because the number of pokemon is too large to bring up all of them.

人生に置き換えると、知り合った全ての人と親しい関係になることは不可能だということだ。

In human life, it is impossible to make close relationship with whom you get to know.

自分にとっては頭数合わせに思えてしまうポケモンも、捕まえた人にとっては愛着のあるポケモンになるかもしれない。

人もまた然り。

You might think that some monsters are extra, but some trainers feel a strong attachment to such monsters.

It's similar to human.

コダックのように、弱いけれども、見た目の良さで手元に置いていたら、突然ゴルダックに進化し、ねんりきとか使い出して、期待を裏切られた経験をした人も少なくないはず。

人もまた然り。

Some people might have unpredictable experience, that you travel with weak but cute monster like koduck, then that evolve to be strong and fierce like golduck ！

It's similar to human.

そんなことをふと考える日曜日の静かな午後。
