2015 Santos TDU

Today, I went to the city to watch the Santos Tour Down Under, which is the biggest cycling race of southern hemisphere.
今日は、南半球最大の自転車レースであるSantos Tour Down Under を見に行ってきた。

The Santos TDU has joined UCI world tour from 2008.
このレースは2008年からワールドツアーの1つに登録されている。

153 racers ran around the street circuit which distance was 4.5 km per lap.
153人の選手が1周4.5kmの街中コースを走る。

Total distance was 90km and all racers finished running in two hours.
計90kmのレースを全選手が2時間以内で完走してしまう。

The main street of the state is blocked up once a month to open events.
州のメインストリートがイベントのために月に1回は封鎖されている。

It's culture shock for Japanese.
日本では無いことなので文化の違いを感じますな。
