日本の文化？②

考えのまとまらないまま即興スピーチを始める。
I started the speech before I elaborate it.

最初に、日本の文化について私は誇りに思うと言ったら、思いの外、興味を引くことに成功した。
At the beginning of my speech, I introduced my thesis was Japanese culture. Unexpectedly, I could attract classmates and teacher to my speech.

しかし、一体何について話そうか？
Anyway, what should I talk about?

大風呂敷を広げたものの、なんせ考えがまとまっていない。
I think my thesis was too wide to speech.

結局、日本には四季があり、それぞれの季節の魅力について話しました。
Finally, I talked about Japanese four seasons and each characteristic.

単調なgrammarだったので、聴いてる人らは退屈だったかもしれない。
I supposed listeners might have been bored with my speech because I used simple grammar.

先生も期待外れだったみたいで、日本人の特徴について知ってることを話してくれた。
Teacher seemed to be dissatisfied so that he taught us about Japanese characteristics.

例えば日本人は授業の最中に質問をしない。
For example, almost of all Japanese do not ask teacher during classes.

それはなぜかというと、彼らは授業の進行の妨げになるようなことはしない。
This is because they would not disturb programs in the class.

シャイだと思われることもあるが、礼儀を重んじているからである。
Japanese are often recognised to be shy. However, they actually think it is manners.

イラン出身の先生は、僕より日本人について詳しいようだ。
The teacher who is from Iran is quite familiar with Japanese than me.

今なら何について話すだろうか。続く。
