日本の文化？③

オーストラリアで1つ発見した日本の文化は、公共の共有スペースをキレイに使用するというものだ。
I have found one of the Japanese culture in Australia. It is custom of Japanese keep public places clean.

あるファーストフード店にて、ある客は食べ終わった後、商品の包み紙を片付けず、そのまま帰ってしまった。
When I was in fast food restaurant, I saw a customer who left wrapping paper on the table after he ate, and then he went out.

屋外のテーブルだったので、包み紙は風で飛ばされてしまっていた。
The wrapping paper was blown because the table was outside of the restaurant

日本なら多くの人がゴミ箱に捨ててから店を出るだろう。
Most of Japanese would put it to a dustbin before they go out.

語学学校のカフェでも似た事があった。中国人の友だちはランチを食べた後の片付けをせず出ていってしまった。
I have another episode. When I was at English school, Chinese friend did not clean the table up after he ate lunch.

しかし、別の中国人の友だちはその片付けを手伝ってくれたので、一概には言いきれない所もある。
However, another Chinese friend helped us to clean up at the time. So, we cannot generally say about the difference between Japanese and foreigners.

結論は、日本はセルフサービスが定着しているということかな。
In conclusion, self-services are supposed to be established in Japan.

うどん屋によっては麺を温めなおすけど、海外の人から見たら珍しい光景だろうなぁ。
For instance, customers need to warm Udon which is Japanese noodle in some restaurants. Foreigners might feel it is out of ordinary.
