デリバリー、ホンマ好きやな。

紆余曲折を経て、仕事をゲットした。
I have got a job after complications.

日本食を販売するレストランやバー向けの食材配送会社のドライバーの仕事だ。
My job is a driver of Japanese food materials retail company. We sell and deliver Japanese food materials such as rice, sea weed, soy source, and so on.

メルボルンに本社があり、支店はオーストラリア内に6つ、この業界では大きい方ではないだろうか。知らんけど（笑）
The head office is in Melbourne, and it has 6 branches in Australia. I guess this company is one of the largest companies in this industry, but I am not sure.

ピザのデリバリースタッフをやっていた経験と、キャンピングカーやエスティマなどの大型車を運転した経験がある事を推したら難なく。
I could get this job easily by appealing my working experience of pizza delivery staff and driving experience of large cars such as a camping car and TOYOTA ESTIMA.

言うても日本人がやっている会社なので、従業員はほぼ日本人。
Because Japanese employer is running this company, most employees are Japanese .

ただ最近中国人が同じドライバーとして入ってきたし、レストランとかの従業員はほぼ中国人。
However, in these days we welcomed a new driver who is Chinese. In addition, most employees of Japanese restaurants are Chinese.

ホテルの貨物受入担当はオージー。
Staff for unloading in hotels are Aussie.

なので英語を使う機会はそこそこある。
So, I have several opportunities to communicate with them in English.

3月の初旬、シェアハウスに住んでいたけど、そこで知り合った日本人はファームの仕事をしていた。
I lived in a share house at the beginning of March. I met a Japanese who is working for a farm.

現在住んでいるバックパッカーにも日本人が大量にいるけど、ほとんどがファーム。
I am currently staying in a backpacker's hostel. Many Japanese are staying here, and most of them are working for a farm.

ファームの仕事量は作物の取れ高に左右されるので、安定はしていない。
Farm jobs are not stabilized because they are influenced easily by how much crops there are.

シェアハウスの友人も3月末には仕事がなくなるので、ファームの仕事を求めて州を変えると言っていた。
My friend said he would move to other states for getting other farm jobs because he would lose his job by the end of March.

そう考えるとシフトを組んでもらえているだけでもマシだと自分に言い聞かせている。
As I mentioned above, I make myself accept this job for I am shifted every week.

ひとまずは収支の見通しが着きました。
I can calculate my income and expenditure for the present.
